A few months ago I ordered Samsung Galaxy Y color plus at Saholic.com for my friend . I ordered there because it was from "Spice" keeping aside the most trusted one flipkart. I got it on time by bluedart .I wanted to surprise my friend (he hardly knows anything about online shopping ..COD..)I paid the money and took it to my friend. Actually with anxiety, I opened the seal. But to my surprise, I got galaxy y instead of the color plus model.So called the customer care. It took about 15 minutes to get to that guy. And another 15 minutes to explain. I got frustrated and thought to disconnect the call. Then there was another guy who came and I could communicate with him properly. He asked me to return that to courier guy promising me that I would get my actual product within 2 days.
Surprisingly, I got it. Unfortunately my friend is beside me.He started opening it. Actually the box was a little damaged at a corner that we could see the contents inside. We thought it might got damaged in transit(its actually common). So we saw the Mfg date -its Jan 2012 and that month was end of April (Generally online products will be at max a month older).Finally when he tried to open the seal it was hard. So pulled it forcefully. For our surprise there was another Samsung seal under it which was tampered(literally into 2 parts). He was a bit disappointed to see all these things but the product inside is correct one and it looked like a new unused product. As he was in urgency he didn’t want to return that product again and make some mess. If it was me I would not have accepted that because it was their mistake at first place to send wrong product.
Moral of the story:
Without reviewing about a site don’t buy because you want to experiment with money.
I think ability or quality of a Company lies in the way how they respond , correct and satisfy customer when there is something wrong. But here customer support is bad, the way they gave second hand product taking for that of a new one.
Product is from Samsung, delivery is through blue dart and their only job is to mediate. Even that they are not doing properly. I felt that their administration is run by unplanned, educated, ignorant people..
I don’t say that sites like flipkart, buytheprice don’t do mistakes.. buy the way they respond is awesome and they take good care of them.
Because a few website gives you a product that is few hundreds less than other, don’t u get temped to buy from them. Finally its satisfaction that is important. because we are investing few thousands and in does few hundreds matter??
I’m not someone to say that this is worst site but in my opinion its not a trust worthy site. Even if u want to buy a product after reading this story, its your kindness, forgiveness, ignorance and childishness.
