I have ordered the device on 22nd of June and received it on 26th of July. On the same night, I found the product is faulty and I called them on the same night to inform that. According to their procedure if I inform them before 48 hours, I will be getting a replacement. I was really happy that the product might be faulty, but I will be getting a replacement for the product I have paid for. The customer care Exec advised that I will get the replacement and they will mail me the details. I havent received any details by next morning, so I sent them a mail and I got the process as response.
According to the process I need to go to the service center and get a DOA certificate. I visited the Service center and they took 4 days to provide me the DOA. Though the technician informed me that the concern is genuine on my face at the service Center. I have e-mailed the DOA certificate and informed customer care regarding the DOA, and I was informed that they will be picking up the product for replacement. The pick-up was first scheduled on 5th July, however the pick-up person did not turn up. And to my surprise it continued for 3 consecutive days i.e. 5th, 7th and 8th.
I have been calling the STD number numerous times to get an update on this and they are giving me false promise every time. I have also requested them to send me a fresh product and once the delivery is in place they can take the faulty product back. They are not ready with that option as well. Therefore I wanted to return the product, as they were unable to do what they have said, and they have informed they cannot take back the product. I am really not sure what I can do. After I have gone through the review here, I am really afraid now that my money has gone for good. Please help me. Is there no consumer protection act for online purchases where the company is playing with the time, mental disturbance and money of a customer?

I have received my product at last and its in good condition. Thanks Saholic. The wait time is too much and thats the reason I was frustrated. Saholic Customer care should look into this matter... If this is not corrected , they will have to face quite a lot problem in the Indian market.
