Sai Palace is located at the perfect location, ie Ghodbunder Road. We usually visit this restaurant when we need to unwind and not just rush through the courses.
Sai Palace has a huge acre of land and I must say they have utilized the space pretty well. There is a small garden and park for kids complete with a swing set and some slides. They have some turkeys, rabbits, ducks and chickens that roam about freely. Kids absolutely adore this place.
On weekends and special occasion they have gazal nights. Where popular singers churn out some oldies and create quite an atmosphere. On other occasions, they bring in a DJ and the crowd goes into an absolute frenzy.
They serve a blend of continental, Indian, Mughali cuisine. They have thrown in Mexican favorites like tacos and nachos in the starters section as well. The food is pretty good. I have tried several dishes and so far so good. The staff is warm and friendly.
They have a dessert counter in the courtyard that serves tiramisu, pastries, cheesecakes along with rabdi, ras malai, gulab jamuns and ras gullas. They have placedkhaats outside the dessert counter, where you can hangout or even take a quick nap if you want to.
I am regular at Sai Palace and will recommend it to everyone.
