Saiyaara is a combination of love, pain and music woven together to create a story that will stay with you even after youve left the theatre. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda stand out in this emotionally loaded journey. A must-watch!
Saiyaara is no cookie cutter love story its a story that takes risks with the narrative and executes it with panache. Suris is a lean, mean, emotionally charged film, with a taut script and stirring dialogues, drama calibrated perfectly.
The music, by the way, is wonderful - The music effects strengthens the adventure, is vivid, remarkable and fits wonderfully the story. The chart-topping title track is just a different animal within the context of the film.
Ahaan Panday stuns with a debut that looks mature in tears owns and certainly magnetizes every frame. Its unusual to find such composure and range in someone so new.
Aneet Padda is a real find natural with her emotions, graceful and feels the temperament of her characters journey. Her first go-round doesnt feel like one, and its not: Shes a natural.
Their on-screen chemistry has become palpable and intense the type that draws you in and makes the story more believable. Their moments together are tender, tense, raw.
Special mention to Geeta Agrawal, who plays the mother and her track which infuses a lot of emotion and keeps the film rooted! Theres nary a scene shes in that doesnt register.
Final Take!
Saiyaara is an intimate and contemporary love story from the heartland of India that does bring tenderness and emotional appeal to the big screen. Its sincere, cinematic and totally worth your time.
