I love Bollywood, in the real true way! I love the songs, dance, drama & color that these directors manage to create.. Infact most of the times even without a strong story line also, I love movies:) BUT.. this one.. from a reputed stable..is a disaster..I liked the music so much that I have been waiting to see this (not same as the waiting for the 7th book!) Even for those who have not seen the movie.. are familiar with the idea that it is about 6 love stories in different stages/situations.. and that excited me enough to watch it (kya pata.. atleast do theen to ache honge.. said the optimist ME!).
But all the stories are treated in a very dramatic manner.. may be could be seen in part of 90s cinema.. but today movies are trying to be realistic.. and this movie is far beyond reality (I agree.. the drama woven is generally hyped.. but you could relate to some extent! That is what makes you love the movie!!) Taxi driver and a phirang fall in love.. a married couple has privacy issues in making out.. cmon.. and to top it.. Nikhil screams to show his prowess in handling six stories at the same time.. by switching them so frequently.. and so consistently and SO ANNOYINGLY.. sorry mite..
U have got it all wrong! Mr. Johar.. Where is the real Magic?? Yeah.. U on a phone support is not good enuf!
If I get a chance to tell Nikhil that ONE THING he should not have done.. It would be not to show the not so toned thigh of Vidya Balan as an erotic scene! May Peace be with us!!
The saving grace - Lavish Sets, Music and the actors performance! Isha is so wasted in the movie! (I remember her performance in Kya Kool Hai Hum and I think that she is one star who needs that real BREAK!)
