*PLOT:
*As we know there are 6 parallel stories/tracks and each of them deals with love problem.
Story NO.1:-(Ashutosh, Tehzeeb)
John and Vidya are a loving couple who married .their’s is the saddest track of them all.as when Vidya-a reporter- is on a new train .it crashes and she loses her marriage part of her memory and forgets John. and the story so evolves on how much John realises how much he needs her .he keeps trying to get back her memory.
SO this track is about John’s love for Vidya. overall Okay story
Story NO.2:-(Raju-stephanie)
Govinda is a taxiwalla and knows that one day his dream girl will walk out of the airport doors and will fall for him.well a girl [Shannon Esra] DOES come out of the airport .but she has come to search for her NRI boyfriend and ask him to take her back.as she still loves him.Govinda is heart broken but will still help her in true hero style.The scenes with their communication problems are well-handled and funny too.
This is the Best story of the lot.simple, funny and touching and is helped by good acting from both stars and has a hilarious and satisfactory ending.
Story NO.3:-(KKamini-Rauull)
This one’s a Disappointment .Priyanka is a item girl and wants to change her image to a tragedy queen and act in a KJo movie.so she hatches a plan that she thinks is gonna help her.but from nowhere Salman comes and gives her a new plan and for about first few minutes.there is no explaination on who the hell he is!
we go round and round and still no straight answer to what is happening until it starts to sink in that he loved here since loong time and now has come back to her.he was a waiter and she was a dancer in the same club.even this is explained stupidly.so she must noe choose between Kjo and him.and its supposedly tough cos she might have fallen in love with him also
There are tacky flash-forwards and we dont even know if that is an idea or is gonna happen surely.hmm.they make a good couple but the story line could have been more clearer.it was very roughly handeled by Advani.Has a predictable ending.
Story NO.4:-(Shireen-Gia)
This is another Good story but the merit should go entirely to Akshaye Khanna.
He plays a commitment-phobic and hence cant see why they have to marry and can’t just live like a couple and be free and keep their love free
Ayesha Takia wants to marry and this leads to Akshaye freaking out and havoc in their relationship. .very simple.VERY funny.very nicely handled leads to an enjoyable affair to watch
Story NO.5:-(Seema-Vinay)
This ones also an Okay one. Anil Kapoor is bored of his daily shuffle from Office to home and feels that the spark between him and his wife is missing so he gets into a relationship with a bimbo played by a new actress.he is now caught between married life and how he wants to change himself for anjali.so this one’s about an extra-marital affair and ends predictably.is sidelined a little and not much detail to it.didn’t have anything new to it.
Story NO.6:-( Ramdayal-Phoolwati)
This one’s the most useless but the most funny track in the movie.i think sohail’s HURR.mating call might cach up in real life also.he is a newly married deperate to make love to his new wife and his unsuccessful attempts each has a hilarious ending.but there is no point to this story and is merely added for laughs.the ending of this one was totally funny.
*CAST:
Govinda**-I think Govinda was best of the lot.just brilliant .who plays Raju with total ease and Infuses a lot of life into his character.keeps calling stephanie "moydam". and does’nt think she is a stepney.the touching part where he knows she cant be his.the funny english.the mismatched pair is taken so easily because he is so good in his role.i really was surprised and delighted to find him back in form.this movie or the story would have been nothing without him.full marks to his performance.
Shannon Esra-She’s good too.plays the helpless tourist with ease and understood the bollywood cinditions of acting pretty well.gives a very good performance and is fun to watch.
Jon Abraham-HE is VERY good.plays the loving husband in despair with total simplicity so much that sometimes you wish for him to get what he wants.has given his full acting to what is a smallish role.he carries the story forward.
Vidya Balan-Could have been better but I don’t blame her at all.she didn’t get any lines to speak after her memory loss and has to move around with dark circles under her eyes
Akshaye Khanna-He’s one talented actor.hilarious! depiction of a VERY confused guy who wants to.first.and doesnt want to marry later.most of his role requires him to be freakish and he does it soo well.doesn’ t overact at all very well played.amazing
Ayesha Takia-Didn’t have much to do but was good in her role as the helpless wife-to-be who loves a man who runs away from marriage.
Salman Khan-Good morning!we are shooting for a movie! i’m sure they said that tohim every take.fizzles out as the guy who loves priyanka and makes absolutely no effort to make his poorly written role better.just stares around at things wearing blazers and has absolutely no proper expressions to show the audience.acts like a guru who knows everything.fizzzzzzed out here
Priyanka Chopra-PLEASE somebody give her a better role! she deserves better.has to play an item gitrl with feeling so she ends up overacting in the first part.then she mellows down later and tries hard to make it look believable and succeeds.the second part showed another side of kkamini’s and she plays it very well. not given a well written role.
Anil Kapoor**-Plays his role very well.he was given a okay role and made it watchable .his bewilerment at finding someone who is hot and young and likes him is handeled pretty nicely.he has to do not much but somehow has given good scope to this role and worth watching.
Juhi Chawla-doesnt have much to do.but when she comes on the screen for those few minutes.is absolutely GREAT.
Sohail Khan and Ishaa Kopaikkar-hmmmm.about 1 page of dialogues of both of them combined.just act funny where reqiured and how I wish I could’ve seen more of sohail who was awesome.and was in full form.but alas! wasted and sidelined.
Ishaa has to find meatier roles.has about two lines and nothing else but just respond to her husbands efforts to take her to bed.
