The Music of the much awaited Multi-starrer Salaam-E-Isq really really disappoints .The terrific music trio dsiappoints this time and music is really stale comared to their previous attempts.

The album has all in all seven tracks.

The first one is "Babuji" sung well by Nihira and is a remixed version of the golden oldie. The track is well done and has a very naughty and peppy feel to it.The track has been done well with the melody kept intact.

Up next is "Dil Kya kare" sung by Adnan Sami .This song expresses the state of heart of a man who is "Very much lost in love" ! A Very slow number but hummable.

"Mera Dil" sung by Shaan and Nihira is a mushy number .The track has a good mix of guitar and flute and is quite melodius to listen to.But it cant remain in listener’s memory for a long time.

Next is my Pick of the album "Saiyaan re" sung brilliantly by Shankar mahadevan, Shilpa and Loy mendonca.I can say this is the BEST song of the album. It has a good blend of western beats and folk -qawwali feel to it.

"Salaam-E-Ishq" sung by Shankar, sonu, Shreya Ghoshal, Sadhna Sargam, Kunal Ganjawala is the Title track of the movie and its catchy when you hear it once or twice. It has a heavy Kal ho na ho hangover and one feels that one has heard it ’n’ number of times before. Not at all impressive coming from the SEL trio.

"Tenu Leke" sung by Mahalaxmi iyer and Sonu Nigam is greatly disappointing. To add to this the music of title track is interlaced with this song. The punjabi baraat kind of song doesnt seem to do any good to the withering tracks of the album.

"Ya Rabba" is the final piece sung by Kailash Kher is a soft melodious song. Its a sad song about introspecting why love is some kind of punsihment and why love brings so much pain! Probably my second pick of the album.

To summarise, the album has just two good tracks. You could probably save the money to buy something better :)
