After a long hype and slight delay the most awaited movie of the month Salaam Namaste finally got release. But movie seems to show no delay in getting out of theatres. Movie is about some young people from India in Australia catching up the western culture and living life of independence and full freedom.
Star cast is very good and suits the movie theme. Well if you are expecting light comedy with glamour you wont fine better stars then Saif, Preity and Arshad Warsi. Banner is of Yash Raj, which means no poverty-no underworld but beautiful locations, romance, sweet music and stylish dressing.
Though the story is little new and different and movie starts very nicely but within 15 min you start realizing that nothing is new in movie. Script is poor. Music is ok. If you talk about comedy sometimes it is wonderful and sometimes it is too cheap.
Today when technically movies are getting stronger and stronger Salaam Namaste big loophole is technically is zero. There are many incidences where you scream out what nonsense is going on….
They decide to live in a same house so that they can give time to each other, but condition was that they would be separate rooms. But in next 5-10 min they are in same bed without any reason. It seems that they were just waiting for this.

Both the stars are taking loans not for purchasing the house but to pay the rent of house.

Till here it was ok but Saif friend Arshad whose wife got pregnant 2 months before Preity came to same hospital and her delivery. It means Preity is having baby in 8 months and other one in 10 month…

Beside this in whole movie you can hear unnecessary screaming and shouting of all the stars. Performance wise Saif was just ok…Preity seems to be overacting in maximum part of movie…. Arshad was good… Little cameo from Abhishek was Pathetic.
Overall the entire movie is very disappointing. Lots and lots of noise and shout throughout the movie…I hope nobody feel disappointing if they miss this movie
