I strongly believe nowadays if you go to a ’’Metro’’ school and ask a

small child what ’’Y’’ stands for :) he will cutely say

Y for ’’Yash Raj Films’’ he he he. or at the most ’’Yash Chopra’’

Jokes aside, Yash Raj films have definately become a Brand Name all

over the world (specially in the area where they grow yellow Flower’s)

People just rush to the theatre by this name, without

looking at the starcast (ofcourse if its SRK then nothing

better than that) but look at the crowd for Saif Ali Khan movie :)

2 Days the Theatre is HOUSEFULL this is First time in last

5 years I have heard Housefull in Singapore.

I dont think this is Saif Ali Khan Hysteria definately he

or ’’T.L.V.Prasad’’ he can create the same hysteria amongst the crowd ?

This is YASH RAJ FILMs Banner a Brand Name who knows how to Catch todays ’’Y for YOUTH’’ by putting some ’’most happening’’ subjects in the METRO YOUTH (in Yash chopra society these are the hot topics they normally discuss) ’’Homo-sexuality, Wife swapping, Mom’s asking their sons whether they are into Drugs (dil chahta hai) living-In relationships etc etc’’

But this in my point of view is a ’’Page-3’’ society, then how ? why ? does a middle class ’’tuition attending’’ or ’’Keeping this dream - of making his Parents Proud alive’’

type of Youth get Hooked up to this society ?

What makes this humble Youth of our society to identify with Kanta-Ben of Kal ho na Ho ’’homo-sexuality’’ jokes.

I dont know Guys :) Another question then comes into my mind,

why are some films made ?

Like say ’’Hazarone Khwaishe Aise’’, ’’Maqbool’’ , ’’Iqbal’’

(you know what genre I am talking about’’ everybody says Its a Good Movie,

(I also watch it) but you see Theatres are Empty.

completely EMPTY. After all this is what counts right ?

Theatre Has to Be FULL if you deliver a Product it must reach to as many People as possible but for these Films Theatres are EMPTY :(

Then I come back to YASH CHOPRA’s success rate.

This Guy brings the Classes and masses

together with Family to the Theatre very consistently,

I must give credit to this Old Man for churning out some TRENDY films.

So what do you think, does Salaam Namaste does justice to YASH RAJ Films ?

My Personal view is ’’Nops’’

I mean where is Hindi Cinema going ?

Its Going to Australia :) or European countries

(this movie is Fully shot in Australia)

Do we really write Hindi Lyrics nowdays, did you not notice in Yash Chopra’s

Society English Songs are more prefered no more ’’Yeh Kahaan Aa gaye hum’’ :)

Yes the movie has some comic moments, some really serious moments, some HOT scenes (you will not be surprised to see Preity Zinta getting desparate as Rani Mukherji is moving ahead)

But why dont you all watch ’’Nine Months’’

Joan Cusack (Some wierd Arshad Warsi’s Australian wife)

With some really really cool Songs Picturisation running in the background,

With some English and Hindi Lyrics mixed up, Loved these tracks

1) My Dil Goes ummmm..

2) Whats Going On ...

3) and a Hindi song sung by Sonu Nigam .. Tu Jahan ..

I bet these songs will grow on you once you see the movie..
