Dear MSians,

Salaam | Namaste.

Though I was not expecting that there will be shortage of tickets for the show of SALAAM | NAMASTE. But I was feeling somewhat bored at my room so I thought I should reach cinema hall and get my ticket for my favorite seat. So I reached hall one and half hour before the show.

I was very happy as there was not much rush. But my happens didn’t last longer.As I reached booking counter, all the seats were booked in advance. Only few seats were available for the front rows.

So I got ticket at last. But it was so much surprising that this movie was booked in advance. Cinema hall was packed.

Thanks SALAAM | NAMASTE, I got to see so many Indian faces around me after so many days.

Yash Raj films got another reason to fly high courtesy SALAAM | NAMASTE.

Yes, SALAAM | NAMASTE, another hit movie by Yash Raj films, after Hum Tum , Dhoom and Bunty aur Bubbly.

Movie is simply superb , with great performance, a different set up for a Love Story, Breath taking locations, great songs, and full of life and comic situations.

Plot

Nikhil and Amber are staying in Melbourne to fulfill their dreams, to live the life at their own, like they want.

Amber is studying her medical as well as working as a Radio Jockey to finance her studies.

Nik, who hates to be called Nikhil Arora, is architect by profession and Chef by choice.

Movie starts with Amber anchoring her show SALAAM | NAMSTE and waiting for Nik to be interviewed on her show. But Nik is never on time and as usual don’t reaches the show on time. Amber now felling humiliated by the act, starts defaming Nik unless and until he apologize for his act.

In a dramatic situation Nik says sorry (which he never wants to say).

In a marriage function Nik and amber come close to each other and their identities are disclosed. They began to like each other now and decide to get into a LIVE IN relation, so that they get to know more about each other.

And there love story begins.

And one day Amber finds herself pregnant. Nik don’t want child .So he ask amber to abort the child. But Amber decides to give birth to the child without Nik.

And lately there is heart change of Nik and he accepts Amber decision.

Arshad Warsi plays the role of close friend to Nik and Jugal hansraj is close friend to Amber.

Javed Jaffery is land lord of Amber and Nik.

Performance

Saif Ali Khan. This guy is simply improved after DIL CHATHA HAI.And he is improving with every release. Do look out for his expressions .They is matchless. His expressions are just continuation of what he delivered in Dil Chatha Hai.

Priety Zinta aka Amber aka Hamber aka Ambi.

She is looking stunning beautiful in the movie and delivering yet another deadly performance.

Her character was full of masti and maturity.And she delivers both thing effortless.

Arshad Warsi.Wow !!! bollywood has got another star for comic roles. He is simply great while performing those witty oneliners.He is simply enjoyable after Munnabhai and Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya. His comic timings are superb.

Javed Jaffery.He was bit irritating, but well justified his character as Landlord with superb English(Look out for my review title. It’s dedicated to him only.)

Abhishek Bachhan .Not a great performance. He was really irritating.

Jugal Hansraj. He was looking very cue and performed very well in his small role.

Music Track

Well nothing to say about the music of the movie. It’s already a HIT.

Songs are treat to watch on big screen, specially the Title track because of the location.

Other songs are as you all know are already hitting the top charts and they are not there forcibly.

My Opinion

Well movie was out and out hit. No doubt. Movie is full of masti, romance, emotions and a bit similar to today’s life. Though may be difficult to digest the Live in relations. But it was superbly executed.

Performance was the best .every body delivered his best. Being any comic scene , emotional scene or dance. Every thing was perfect.

Direction by new comer Siddharth anand is good.Movie don’t seems to be directed by a newbie.

Direction was perfect, there was no flaw in the movie regarding the pace. Every scene of the movie was full of life except some illogiaccl scenes, like the climax when

Preity is going to drliver the baby.he climax was Unnecessarily elongated witd all the logics keeping behind

And similar is how one can dance with 8 months pregnancy, but our heroine does.

And yes don’t miss out BEHIND THE SCENES in the end of the movie they are as good as the movie itself
