Salaam Namaste...when I write or say Salaam Namaste, mujhe woh tune yaad aati hai, title song ki...duno y..LoL..well thatz not interesting, because I am here to write a review on Salaam Namaste.
First of all I’d like to say :
I like the title of the movie, dunno why...story ke saath itna match nahin karta, sirf us radio station ka yeh naam hai, jiske sariye NIkhil and Hambar aka Ambar mile.
Nick aur yeh Ambar koun hain ?
Australia mein rehne wale do nau jawaan...
Nick aka Nikhil (Saif Ali Khan): Asal mein architect hai par choice se cook , apne baap ki khushi ke khatir Nikhil Arora architect hai, but actually he doesnt like being architect, ishi liye woh Cook bann gaya.
Nikhil is a cool guy and wants his freedom..apni zindagi puri tarha woh jeena chahta hai.
On the other side...our Hambar (Preity Zinta)...Salaam Namaste ki moderator, who hates late comers...I really liked her role at the beginning, kaise woh Nick ko Badnaam karti hai and so confident.
Salut & Servus MS Readers/Users...mein abhi film ki kahani ke saath aage chalta hoon, but I will make it short :
The film starts with the Radio SALAAM NAMASTE, jahan pe Preity bairth kar Nick ka intezaar karti hain, who is her guest today...but as usual...Nick aur time ? two different wordls...woh time pe nahin aata and preity hates such a behavior.
Woh Nick aur uske restaurant ko bahoot badnaam karti hai ( btw. woh restaurant pura uska nahin hota, but he is the cook there )...yeh sab secenes ...jab preity saif ko badnaam karti hain are very funny and fun to watch. ...they fight a lot .
Phir achanak Nick aur Hambar ek duje se mil jaate hain ( ek shaadi par ) but they dont nick doesnt no, ke yeh hambar hai and hambar doesnt no ke yeh nick hai, bcz they havent seen each other, but talked on the phone.
They become friends and meet several times...then Hambar comes to know ke yeh Nick hai and Nick comes to know ke yeh hambar hai.. but they r really confused, bcz they start liking each other...aur usse pehle dono jhagre the.
Well..kaise na kaise dono mil jaatein hain and nick falls in luv with hambar...he proposes hambar, but she refuses at first, bcz she tells him ke woh ek doosre ko nahin jaanta and Bla Bla...nick maan jaata hai and suggest ke woh dono ek ghar mein saath saath rahe ek duje ko jaane ne ke liye....kaise na kaise woh hambar ko manna leta hai and there begins the fuun and story....
omg..wat a confusion in my review..LoL..aage ka mein nahin bataunga..watch the movie... !
Performances:
Saif Ali Khan : Great to watch him again I really like him and always appreciate his work...fun to watch...great actor.
Preity Zinta : A great actor as well, but preityy tum whole movie mein itnaa chilatii kyoon hoo...mere kaan mushkil se bach gaye...juz kidding ;)
Arshad Warsi and Javed : Oops I didnt mention them..Lol..watch the movie...bcz I only wrote abt Nick and Hambar....Arshad was as always awsome and Javed was a bit strange..woh movie mein tang kar raha tha..didnt like him that much !
Music :
The music is Oky.. My dil goes MmMmm feels gud to the ear and the rest is Oky.
On the whole:
The movie is quite gud and u can watch it once..although I expected more, but still it was Oky..not bad - not brilliant...fun to watch !
Compared to HUM TUM..I personally prefer HUM TUM...mere dil vich hai HUM TUM !
