When I visited Salarjung Museum - Hyderabad, some two decades more or so, the ambience and the decor was very much of a traditional and cultural symbol in the form of Salarjung Museum.
Off course sarkari rather to say due to the vision less, ignorant and careless attitude of the caretakers, who, surely must be the civil servants or officers of the same cadre, the priceless and precious piece of our glorious history has come down in the form of present condition of the museum.
You schedule a visit to Salarjung Museum, arrange conveyance, spend handsome amount of money, your time and attention and then what come in front of your eyes is a pity scene of a boring building with scarcity of everything - tourists’ comfort, availability of east and fair transportation facilities, lack of proper and appreciable guidance, fair priced shops, and everything.
Even the worst thing that pained me a lot, that, the management has removed a lots and lots of item from the museum, I do not know whether they have been put in to ruined items list or damaged items list or what.
The same museum could have become a marvel of its kind in the country bur, . Oh God when will this corruption go from our country.
