1) How did you train yourself for your acting career, tell us something about your acting school? Ans: I never went to acting school, my father always believed and respected writers, I am a actor but my father does not approve of my acting career.
2)Maine Pyar Kiya, Patthar Ke Phool were so big successful films, credit in the end mention a special thanks to Salman Khan, what is the story ?
Ans: Look I have trained all my life by my father to think deep, cultivate ideas and keep the mind fertile for inspirations, this was the serious career chosen by my father for me, when I got the offer of Maina Pyar Kiya from a very respectable family everybody agreed that it is bad manners to say no to such big respect. I was doing my shooting the producer for the 2nd film saw me and offered me Patthar Ke Phool, when I am not doing anything, I talk and brainstorm a lot, that is how my name got mentioned in special thanks in Patthar Ke Phool.
3) Acting in films are an accident in your life, that is why you did not care for image building journalists and image branding concepts ?
Ans : This is as near the truth as it can get. I started earning my bread from this unexpected field, without planning and without preparing, I treated all roles with the writers mind and everybody started saying, you have a fresh approach to acting, you are lucky for our films, this is one of the major points in my career, people started calling me lucky.
4)Why court cases, why bad press, why press call you brat ?
Ans: I have not posed or given self promotional interviews in my early career and when somebody approached me I declined, this is not how new prospecting actors do, they hog all the news print they can get, even invent fake love affairs, some rich young actors employ public relation companies to brand their images and make them look good to public minds. I did not do all that and press is angry with me for not bending to them. Everyone with me on the outdoor location went with the Bishnoi tribe guide for Black Buck game, but only I am blamed and everyone went free.
5) Hum Apke hai Kaun and so many other big hits, you changed the way marriages are held in India, what is your one great wish ?
Ans : I always wished for my fathers approval, I wanted one word of respect from him for my career, one word of praise for my acting or my achievements, this is one sad thing I did not get from my father.
6)You are always associated with good looking females, Bhagyashree, Raveena, Nagma, Sangeeta Bijlani, Katrina Kaif Somu Ali etc., what is your story ?
Ans: I am fascinated with the work of GOD, SUNDARAM is a quality, I love to admire beautiful faces and make friends with them, help them and look after them, I see a good looking person before anyone realize that this person is good looking, it is like Feroz Khan saab, he recognizes a good singer before anyone. I just like to help good looking people get their due place, otherwise this Industry is full of exploitations, remember the case of TABU. Most of these girls need a strong person in the beginning to protect them in this industry, I understand this need, when they become strong themselves, I leave them on their own, they are always thankful to me. I do not demand from them contracts or any other compensation for myself.
7) You mean to say the stories we hear about your anger, temper and all that what is it ?
Ans : You see I asked Kamal Khan to sing oo Janay Jana, but I did not ask him to refuse other jobs, but he said I will sing only for Salman Khan, I never asked him this for myself, Bhagyashree or any other girl I was friends with I did not ask any personal favours or ask them to show me any special attention. Follow your heart I always say, like I do.
8) Why do you take off your shirt so often in front of the camera ?
Ans : I was introduced to physical fitness by Sanjay Dutt, I liked the idea of Gym and I worked very hard to become physically fit, when producers and directors saw the results, they started asking me to do this please and do that please, I have to listen to their request, they are paying me and they are spending a lot of their money to shoot my body, even the song honey , honey they asked me to take off my shirt, the same story for stage shows. People ask me, when I am in my home I do what I like the best and you will always find me wearing my shirts and T-Shirts in my own time.
9) What is your difference of opinion with Shahrukh Khan ?
Ans: He is a professional actor and it shows in his acting and he puts lots of efforts to do his job, I am a actor by chance and it shows in my behaviour on sets and off sets, that is how we are different, where ever we are basically we have our inborn traits. We cannot change that, a Leapord cannot change its spots.
10) Why you did not get married till now ?
Ans: My brothers respect me and agree with me with whatever I ask them to do, but whenever I take a good girl to my father, he just sees she is from film industry and rejects her.
11) Your father married a woman from film Industry ? Why cant you ?
Ans: This is the question I asked my father !! His answer is because I married from the Industry I know a girl from the film Industry is not good for you.
12)It seems your father influence is greater over you than Arbaz and other kids ?
Ans: I have a deep respect for my father and big longing to keep him happy, I dont care for many thing in life but the things I care for I really work hard to achieve them. Look at my old age home and orphanage and other things I manage.
