I wish to share my experience I had with Sam San travels. I had planned my Honeymoon to Thailand in November 2011. I will be very crisp and to the point for your benefit. :)
My itinerary went through a lot of changes because of flooding in bangkok. Finally bangkok was dropped at the last minute and no of days in Phuket (4 days) and Pattaya ( 3 days) by 1 day each. I would like to appreciate the fact that even after demanding these changes at the 11th hour, my final cost went up by just 2000 odd rupees. Sameer was very accommodating and helpful in this aspect. He went out of his way in waiving off Air Asia’s penalty charges for making changes.
The GTMC guy s who were handling our sightseeing and other stuff in Thailand did a fabulous job.. Were always accessible by phone and were very helpful whenever the need arose.
During our PhiPhi island tour the boat of the local company broke down and 2 islands were skipped cuz of same. When I bought this to Sameer’s notice, he promptly gave us a complimentary Phuket Fantasea tickets with transfer which was thoroughly enjoyable. Was a great example of customer service. The hotel in Phuket (Deevana Patong Resort and Spa) was AWESOME. Hotel in Pattaya (Citin Garden Resort) could have been better but cudnt upgrade due to our cost constraints.
The very fact that we didnt have to wait even 5 mins during the entire tour for anything was mindblowing. The pick ups and drops were always on time and add to it the charm and politeness inherent in Thai Culture was very pleasing.
Overall a great experience where I didn’t have to worry about anything at all.. Everything was very well managed taken care of.
