Thailand flood situation is now under control. We went to Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket through Sam-San travels and came back happy. Phuket and Pattaya shopping is mostly the flea market or stuff on the beach which is good. In Phuket we stayed in Devana Patong suggested by Sam-San Travels and it is an excellent hotel were mostly spending time on the beach in Phuket and did not do any sightseeing and just spent time lazing around. In Pattaya we stayed in A.
Once cruise hotel which is nice but not as good as Devana in Phuket. In Bangkok we stayed in I-residence which is a cute little hotel. The Alcazar show in Pattaya is colorful but be careful those people dancing are not females they are called lady boys!! J Coral Island was nice but it was very hot over there so we did not land up doing any water sports. Overall I was happy with our tour as we got what was promised to us by Sam-San Travels. The dollar rate fluctuation made our budget go slightly higher but then that we could not avoid. We had taken Veg meals, but all vegetarians must accept the fact that the Thai style food is more suited for Non Veg preparation; the food was ok if you are able to develop a particular taste for 5 days. J
In Pattaya we went to Rilpeys believe it or not which is a good time pass. If anyone wants to do a budget trip then Thailand is a good international option. Don’t take Bangkok Airways they always delay flights.
