Awesome North Indian Food!!

Well to start with, I was taken to this restaurant by one of my friends telling me that this is the best restaurant for North Indian food and oh boy, did it live upto the expectations! Well its been 2 years since and I have never missed an opportunity to treat myself here.

The first time I entered here I felt like I was going into some freezer but as you go in the temperature just sets in. The seating is a bit uncomfortable esp for the tall guys, but the food makes you forget all the flaws. They serve you a basket full of flour sticks with an assortment of chutneys and mayonnaise sauce, its a great time pass while you wait for the menu card(btw its complimentary!). The menu is very limited for any regular restaurant of this kind but the choices on offer are of high quality. The menu is a bit surprising because it looks like a special edition page of your daily newspaper.

Every time I come here a Paneer Tikka and Seekh Kebab is a must as starter; a plate of panner tikka can easily be eaten by 3-4 guys. Take my word for it the **Paneer Tikka** thats prepared here is the best I have ever eaten and am sure all those who have tasted it will share my views. As for the main course, in those days when I was a non-vegeterain I couldn’t miss on the mutton biryani thats served here. Now as I have turned a vegeterian its the usual rotis and curry, I like the rotis here as they are baked to perfection. Coming to the desserts, they have a limited choice with Kulfi being highest on my list. And hey they have an inhouse Panwaala who makes some great pan, do try it.

The service is effecient and the guys are dressed up as Pathans with a petha or a pagdi, if I am not wrong.

As for the wallet effect, a meal for 2 will easily cost you 1000-1200 bucks. Considering the quality of food and service, thats value for money. A word of caution, do not go here without a reservation on any day/any time or else be prepared to wait for 45-60 mins minimum, they do have valet parking. ***Last but not the least do not forget the Paneer Tikka.**
