I decided to purchase a Samsung Series 4 32” LCD TV as it was the only one that met my exacting standards when I went TV browsing. A year later, with hindsight, I can proudly say. “GOOD DECISION.”
ASTHETICS AND FUNCATIONALITY.
Even when it’s mounted on its stand it looks sleek but mount it on the wall and it looks fabulous. The speakers are hidden and the black mirror finish is classy. The LCD screen resolution gives a fabulous picture quality. You will notice a far superior picture quality when you watch your DVDs. Even the gaming experience is enhanced as the graphics are much clearer. Sound too is great when compared to other in built speakers.
THE REMOTE CONTROL
It’s bulky and a bit uncomfortable to hold. Half the remote is full of keys which are totally of no use to us in India. On the bright side the buttons respond to the lightest of touch and it is sure is STURDY.
MY OWN EXPERIENCE: My son threw the remote out of my window from the fifth floor. I brought it back up in 3, 4 pieces. The plastic was scratched of course but in one piece though it had fallen on concrete. All I had to do was assemble all the pieces together and voila, the remote was working again. Yes, it was bruised and banged and worse from wear but still working perfectly.
THE CONS
The only irritating aspect of the T V is that it takes a very long time to switch on. Takes almost 10 seconds after you switch it on for the picture to come on the screen.
SUMMING UP
I do not regret my decision. All in all it sure was a very wise buy. IF you wish to buy a new television keep Samsung in mind. They deliver good.
