I had one of the worst experiences with Croma (93 Avenue Mall, Hadapsar, Pune). I purchased a 1.5 Ton Samsung AC from the store, but right after installation, it didn’t cool properly on any mode. Within 3-4 days, there was ice formation on both indoor and outdoor units. Even their own technician and Samsung service engineer confirmed the unit was faulty.
Despite clear evidence, Croma tried to influence me into repairing a brand-new AC, which is completely unacceptable. I denied repair and demanded a replacement. The after-sales support, however, has been extremely slow and frustrating.
They promised me I’d only need to pay standard installation charges for switching to LG, but now they’re asking me to pay the full amount again, and they are not refunding the Samsung AC installation amount either. It’s been over a week with no resolution, and I’m following up daily.
To make it worse, the pickup guy from Croma took away my AC’s drainage pipe and till date, they haven’t returned it or refunded me for it. I’m calling and visiting the store almost every day, but there’s zero ownership from anyone — not the customer support, not the store manager, not even the sales attendee Sumitha.
Cromas post-sales service is pathetic, and they seem more focused on passing blame than resolving genuine customer issues. I’ve spent money, time, and energy only to be left disappointed and harassed.
