I have purchased two nos of Samsung 1.0 Ton split AC from M/s.Sekar Stores, Velachery on 15-April-2007. Sekar Stores was quick enough in collecting cash and pushing the product out of stores along with the customer. After four hours, an installtion guy turns up claiming to have been sent by Sekar Stores - Authorised Installer for Samsung.
The instllation guys, starts installaing the machines and half way through the job, cooly informs that the copper pipe needs to be purchased additionally. I examine the instllation kit and was alarmed to see that one of the copper pipes with smaller dia(supposed to be on the instllation pack) is missing.
I call up Sekar Stores, and prompt comes the reply, WE WILL INFORM THIS TO SAMSUNG AND SAMSUNG WILL DO THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU. SO COUGH UP THE EXTRA CASH OR NOTHING WILL BE DONE.
I have to forcefully pay for the copper tube once more(for which I have already paid up). I call up the call centre to keep hearing good music and nothing else.
I finally manged to register a complaint only to get a complaint no and GOOD WISHES. Till date, there is no resolution for the complaint. I call up the service office number in Chennai 044-66545500 and one smart guy by name Mr.Manikandan, says everything is your problem - go and ask for the same with the dealer from where I bought the AC.
Finally, it took all the time for me to understand that SAMSUNG - DEALER cartel, makes good money on the MISSING COPPER PIPE and there is a CUT to everyone in the Samsung Service & Dealer and Installer.
So, never buy any SAMSUNG PRODUCT, if at all you buy, make sure you open every piece of the package and check for yourself before you leave the premise - BETTER TO TAMPER YOURSELF BEFORE YOU FIND THE PACKAGE IS TAMPERED AND FOOLED BY SAMSUNG - DEALER - INSTALER CARTEL.
NO WONDER - SAMSUNG HAS THE HIGHEST BRAND RECALL FOR CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION & INNOVATION IN PLUNDERING MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS
