I have used a pannel meter to measure current for Kenwood 3DC inverter AC model KDC-1813S. Voltages that time were 236 V AC.
The air conditioner went through three cycles of high power consumption(upto 10 A) to achieve the desired temperature(22’C).
Once the desired temperature was achieved, the AC kept it constant with least power consumption i.e., 1 Amperex236Volt=236 Watt.
AC was used on heating mode
