Nice little camera

It was quite easy to choose this samsung model as it was relatively cheap and produced good quality images with some good features. If you dont like samsung you can buy the canon powershot a470.

The most important thing.it can produce very good quality images.I have tested the sunset mode and the results were superb the children and night mode also work prefectly I havent got a chance to shoot in the fireworks mode. The DIS(digital image stabilization) also works nicely but things will get blurred when there is extremely low light, otherwise the results were good.the videos were good.what you see in the lcd display is almost the same what you will get on the compter screen. There is very little noise in the images and the detalis are wonderfully captured.Almost all the settings in the camera can be adjusted including shutter speed and aperature value. The 7MP allows you to have great pictures even after cropping.{MegaPixel count does not measure the clarity of the image}.It produces imgaes which are on par or better than some relatively costlier cameras.(upon reading some professional reviews).

There is only the lcd viewfinder the optical one is absent.

The duracells bundled with the camera allowed me to shoot 60 photos including 20 with flash a

2min video & a lot of fiddling.

2 recharable NiMH battrieswith chargerwere provided *

A 2GB card is provided

You can connect the camera to your TV

There are no hassles while connecting it to your computer

All connectivity cables are provided.

You can use a 3.3v adapter with the camera(adapter not bundled)

The software bundled is of good use for newbies.it allows you to apply filters

enhance colors, and do a little bit of editing.

Overall a good buy.(Never buy kodak.bad quality.panasonic entry level image quality sucks.its better than sony.canon poweshot A470 will be a good buy too)
