I bought the DVD for Rs. 3990/- odd and it worked well in the begining, primarily because I would play more VCDs than DVDs.
It would work fine when I played pirated DVDs on it, but when I started getting original DVDs which came with Subtitiles, the Player would just say "No Disc"... I then called the helpline, who recommended that I get a "Region Code" change done for Rs. 400/- which I did...
It worked for a while and now again it does not work.. the company now wants me to pay up close to a thousand bucks to get the circuit changed as the discs are not rotating at the right speed !! All of this in less than 2 years of me having bought the product !
Unlucky for me that I did not identfy these problems in the warrantly period. Else I would’ve told those cheats to fix it right then..This player also does not play all formats like other players do.. The remote has too many useless buttons and basic features like starting for a desired time do not exist. DO not buy this product.
