Today, I’m giving my review of this product so that you get some idea before you opt to buy Samsung E730.
The specs of this product can be seen if you go to samsung site, so no need to cut & paste here. Here is the review in my words.
It’s worth the money, with all the features for 14900/- in delhi. If u see the phone in black, you will just fall in love with it, very smart & very compact.
Pointing the good things:
Soft & not shiny exterior to make it scratch resistant.
Speaker is excellent, very very clear voice clarity, the external speaker for MP3 & FM is also good but don’t expect too much.
Two screen, the internal one is marvelous coz samsung is best known for its display, the outer one is also unique in itself, some organic LED.
Navigation keys for FM, MP3 ( other formats like ACA, AA3 etc can also be played, so better than sony ericsson) outside so no need to open the flap.
Volume keys & video recording keys also outside given...very trendy.
USB cable & Headphone along with the pack.
Picture quality comes in 3-4 format & id u select the best resolution (1024X1255), the quality is very good. By the way its a 1.3 mega pixle camera.The snaps does not get distorted when imported to PC as it happens in nokia set.
Voice recording, & video recording available for more than 1 hrs but video has to be seen in small window when viewing in computer. Its of low resolution recording.
Battery back is good, no hick ups till now. It runs for 2-3 days if you are not listening songs in external speakers for hrs or playing games in the phone.
Java enabled & WAP enabled.
LED Flash embedded.
Pointing the bad things:
Since its a flap phone so no cover:-)
The Internal Big display takes lot of power & the inbuild power saving software takes care of it but if you are playing games or doin something with the screen for 2hrs max the battery is empty.
The FM receiver is weak if you are in a closed moving car ( this is with all nokia phones also)
The embeded processor is dedicated & at one time u can do only one thing like u can’t play FM & take picture at the same time.
