Pixels DO Matter! High res screen, not so much. As a pro photographer with top level gear, when I am doing a tour on my motorcycle my S6 16 mp camera took high res images that mags would publish. 12 mp is not good enough. so I traded for the 2017 A5 and love the phone. Neither the s7 or s8 would do the trick for me& #8203; , and buying the A5 saved me $450 over the s7. I upgraded for the expandable storage. Anything missing from the s7 or 8 are gimmicks I do not need or want.Yes, the screen res is a bit lower but it is NOT noticible on such a small screen. And I LIKE bezels. I am not keen on a touch screen that leaves no room to hold an expensive smartphone. I expect a lot of S8s will end up in repair. The A5 is an excellent phone with everything most people want.
