Display wise, Mi Max has better clarity despite 6.4 display FHD. Because it has traditional Classical 1: 1: 1 RGB subpixel arrangement. However average sunlight visibility. SAMSUNG A9 Pro has 6 FHD AMOLED display, But feels crappy, because this stupid Pentile sub-pixel configuration stuff, 6 Inch for FHD is a stretch, where as 6.4 FHD IPS is good for Mi Max. I can easily see Cross Hatching on the A9 Pro’s display on close range. It’s fine if you want to Watch videos etc , but If you want to read over the phone ( like web browsing, or reading e books) where in your eyes focus over small area of display, you get irritated with the fuzzy text and cross hatching in the display.
Why? Samsung Why? Samsung should simply have limited the display size to 5.5 if they were not willing to go above FHD , or at least non-pentile subpixel AMOLED display.
But, IPS display is likely to consume More power than AMOLED display of A9Pro.
