The past week was quite busy, especially for Samsung. In its strive to maintain market supremacy, the Korean giant enriched its lineup yet again, this time around by launching a whole new family of metal mid-range devices. After many rumors and rather extensive leaks, the Samsung Galaxy C5 and C7 are now official. The duo offers metal exterior, as well as 5.2-inch and 5.7-inch displays, respectively.
And while we are on the topic of Samsung, rumors are already pouring in about the next Note phablet, the real scoop being a potential number?7019066 skip in the name. But besides the alleged Note 7, there is also news on the Galaxy S front, where a new S7 active is allegedly inching towards a release and users are understandably excited, considering the improvements the S6 active brought over its basic counterpart last year.
OnePlus has also been making major headlines, mostly with rumors about the OnePlus 3. With a full specs sheet, a few leaks and even camera samples available, we have a pretty clear picture of what to expect at the official June 14 launch.
In other news, we have the Asus Zenfone 3, ZUK Z2 and Moto Z to look forward to, the latter of which could feature an interesting collection of modular cases. Sony is also keeping busy with the Xperia E5. It looks promising enough, but will hopefully arrive with at a more sensible price point than most of the companys other recent offers.
