Performance of the mobile with respect to price is good. Speed and Battery is good. Size of the screen is big but the whole body size is same as other phone. One can buy without hesitation
Though there is a big price difference, I will always prefer a branded mobile like Samsung because I have burnt my fingers buying mobiles from Micromax, Karbonn etc. Stating Cons of Indian Mobiles:
Android version used by these companies for their handsets is Stock Android. There will be no proper look or design for the apps. i.e. Camera settings, Radio, Calendar, Calculator look will be ordinary not pleasing to eye of the user.

They are providing batteries from Chinese manufacturers which you will not find in market easily. Quality of the battery & stamina is also unknown.
Customer Care service & support is hopeless or very few service centers.
Low buy back value.
Camera quality is lesser than offered. 16 MP camera will give you results like 8 MP camera.
No updates of firmware available thru OTA. You will never get Software update from these companies. Means no Kitkat upgrade or not even a 4.3 Jellybean will be offered. Because they just import these handsets from chinese or other foreign companies and sell it here in India. For Example, Micromax Knight is a replica of French Mobile Brand named "Wiako Advance".
So guys, think wisely before going for these Indian Mobile company made handsets. I am not against Indian Mobile Companies but they should at least provide properly made handsets with good customer support. One could easily find a Service center of Samsung, Sony, Nokia etc but will have seek hard to find a Micromax or Karbonn service center. And if you found one, then you have to hand over the faulty handset to them which you will not be able to receive back soon.
