I bought Samsung galaxy Grand Quattro from Kolkata’s Vishal Electronics(near Deshapriya Park) almost 16 months ago in June’2013.
Pros -
Processor is powerful; and the phone never hanged in 16 months.
Good camera, fotos are very clear.(except selfi since front camera is not good)
Robust set. The phone fell from my hand atleast 20 times(even in railway track) but no damage both internal or external.
Cons-
Battery is very very very poor. I use the fone just for checking my official mails, sending msg;s via whatsapp & email(by Gmail/ Yahoo). I do not use it for calling or receiving phones since I have another set -Nokia C3. Charging takes long time. If I charge it 100% then the full battery drains out within 6 hours without even taking for 1 minute. I have hardly installed 8 apps in total and I use only 1 SIM.
Moreover the charging jack point at bottom needs to be pressurised with some weight so that charging takes place else it doesnot. I contacted Samsun Cust care they installed SmartTutor(their own apps for troubleshooting via Remote access) but that also didn’t work.
So the phone is just a liability for me now which I spent 16000.
My suggestion: Do not buy this phone.
