I bought it for father a few weeks back. It is the 3rd galaxy device in our home. So, here is my review.
Pros:
Built quality is premium.
Size is good to carry on your hand or pocket/bags.
Display is really vivid, colourful and detailed.
Touch works perfectly. No lags.
Memory management is good.
Supports split view which mean you can work on two apps on same time.
Lollipop OS is breeze on this device.
TouchWiz is awesome. Works fast.
Audio and sound quality is pretty good. Loudness is enough.
It can be used both as tab or phone which is the main purpose of the device.
Camera is better. From is 5 MP and back is 8 MP. Images are acceptable.
It has 2 proper SIM slots and 1 memory card slot.
Supports 2G, 3G and 4G/LTE.
Comes with Samsung Bluetooth headset to use with the device.
All the features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc works fine. You can easily set up all the accounts, devices and network.
The 8 GB ROM is enough to install most of the essential apps.
Supports data saving mode.
CONS:
RAM is 1.5 GB. It would have great it has 2 GB RAM.
ROM is 8 GB and it does not allow apps to move SD card. So, installing a lot of or big apps will be problem after few months.
No auto brightness sensor.
If you want to play games like Asphalt than you should not buy it as less ROM and RAM will not perform well.
Comes with few unnecessary apps which can be removed easily.
Lollipop is good, but it would have better if it has Marshmellow as OS.
Bundled bluetooth device is awesome, but around 13K it should also given a headphone.
Feels little heavy.
Verdict:
Under 15K, it is a very good tablet/phone if you need a better display, better cameras and a reliable device. Overall built is premium, size is perfect to carry and the Samsung brand name gives mental Peace.
Overall I will give 8 out of 10
