Well This galaxy j3. as u can see is pretty cute smartphone.look I dont have something against samsung or this specific product that I entitled my review as such.and the verdict u will reach when u are up finishing reading my review.well I really hoped this app having a comparison tray to put multiple devices to test.
anyway imma go to the brass-tacks first.
This 2016 version of J3 is a serious bump over the last version reviewing which I would be cursing now lol.( THE CONS ARE MENTIONED IN CAPITALS)
Galaxy j3 2016 comes in a special colored box made for India. Inside there is a 1 amp charger, data cable and boring headphones. The phone especially looks better in its golden variant. The bezels fine and the body gives a metallic feel though its made of plastic.the back portion for the gold variant is not slippery.as its matte-finshed and gives a leather-formed outlook.The phone is 138 grams although having a big battery and 7.9mm so quite thin one. This mobile features NFC that is being showed off by the S-Bike radium sticker inside.
now coming to its specs. The display is a great advantage for it, nothing to complain except it has NO GLASS PROTECTION and it sports a 720p super Amoled display with 294 pixels per inch. theres a home button the old samsung one.and the capcitive buttons ARENT BACKLIT. there is NO AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR so NO AUTO-BRIGHTNESS
There is also NO LED NOTIFICATION LIGHT.
The camera is pretty fine having single led flash and 8MP autofocus.lol I dont even know why they write it on the box AF camera nobody’s gonna anticipate a still focus at a price of 9K. the front is 5 mp can shoot 720p as well as the rear camera that also shoots 720p video.NO 1080P VIDEO RECORDING for indian variant.theres also NO SECONDARY MIC available for noise canceling.
This phone comes with NO SNAPDRAGON CHIPSET or ADRENO GPU.neither MEDIATEK and EXYNOX.
it gives, that I rarely had heard of, a spreadtrum chip with 4 cores processor with 1.2 ghz clock speed.the ram is 1.5 gb of which 775mb will be available on first boot that is quite impressive. of the 8GB storage 4.27 gb u will get which is QUITE LOW. the OS is Lollipop 5.1.1 with NO MARSHMALLOW UPDATE so far. the good news is that u can move ur apps and games to sd card and can attach a usb otg.
The samsung ui is good and smart. the camera performance is NOT VERY GOOD. there are noticable amounts of noise.
well I did a lot of studies usage and comparisons on reviewing it.hope u appreciate my review and can be enlightened about the fact if u are not a tech-blind granpa.really care about ur money and whats under the hood of a mobile much more than its overpriced brand name, and I sincerely hope you are not any longer if u completed reading this review and therefore u are not gonna spend 9K on this ultra cute smartphone with lot of ultra absence of feature. although it has a good display and nfc features that is an up-ahead, I suggest u buy any other phone like Asus.lenovo.Xiaomi.Huawei. and Motorola which really give what ur hard earned money deserves.with lot better power and renowned specs.
