I brought this phone on may 9, 2016 via flipkart for Rs. 13, 999/-. Look wise it doesn’t seems differ from the previous J5 phone, the change u can see in this is, it comes with a metal frame which added a lil strength as well as premium look. All the buttons are tactile and easy to use. if we look a quick look at its specifications, this phone comes with a 5.2" 1280*720 super AMOLED screen, Qualcomm snapdragon 410 chipset(1.2 Ghz), 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, Dual Sim, 13/5mp cam, 4G LTE supported. Am pretty satisfied with its camera performance, but it struggles at low light condition, Amoled screen gives a nice sunlight visibility and Ram management is pretty good in my observation. Sometimes I faced a few call drops which is not prominent in other budget oriented phones, and struggle to hold on to the signals .Talk about battery backup, J5 is integrated with a 3100 mah battery which gives a backup of 5-6 hours on 4G network. When compared the features that Samsung put in this price range is remarkable, overall I like this phone, satisfied so far with its performance. it really stood up for my expectations in this price range.
