We are buying J7 prime not OPTIMUS PRIME.?????? Used this phone 3 months and moved on to xiaomi note 4 which is far better than j7 prime. Bought this phone only because my father insisted on samsung. So here’s my review about j7 prime.
Ease of use; Didnt like samsungs extra permission securities at all. Some apps didnt work properly on this phone. I downloaded JioMoney and when I opened it asked for few permissions which I granted and at last permission it kept giving some screen overlay protection is on. Tried to fix it for couple of hours and gave up.
Installed mini militia and when I start playing after 5-7 minutes touchscreen becomes unresponsive or responds late ( jet pack and firing would automatically stop for 3-4 seconds) . When I searched internet found few other people having same problem with no solution.
Style n design; full marks for style n design. Phone looks very premium and rich. But looks dont matter that much.
Features; Same old samsung feeling nothing new. Whether u buy rs.5k samsung or rs.20k samsung, you wont notice difference.
Durability; Samsungs only reliable series was Note series which also burned to ashes last year. J series is total crap.
Value for money; 2 out of 10. Xiaomi offers 10x times better features and hardware in note4 which starts at 10k only.
If you dont agree with me then search google for benchmark scores of both phones. Xiaomi note4 scores 65k while j7 prime scores 45k.
