I bought Samsung Galaxy M51, 3 months ago in Amazon Sale where I got it jut for 19, 999.
Let’s start from initial impressions : -
• As soon as I unboxed it and picked it up two things I noticed were heavy and cheap.
• It doesn’t come with a screen guard or a back cover so I used it without cover for couple of days. There were no scraches on front screen but the plastic back of the phone was full of scraches ( And I didn’t even used it roughly) .
Now let me tell you my thoughts on it after 3 months of useage : -
•Pros : -
Battery : - Battery is just awesome. Best thing about this phone is its battery which last’s around 13-14 hr. On a single charge it literally lasts for 2 days. It comes with 25Watt charging brick which charges it in about 2hr.
Display : - Display is the second best thing about this phone. It displays really punchy and eye pleasing colours. Display is sharp and accurate. It also has really small bazzels and big punch whole camera.
Camera : - Photos are really good and best camera phone under 25k.
•Cons: -
Weight and display size : - Beacuse of 7000mah battery this phone weights around 218 gram which might not seems a lot but it is a lot. After using the phone for 30 - 40 min your fingers will start paining. And also after 3 months I have not adapted to it.
Performence and heating issues with one ui optimisations : - Its not tge worst performing phone in that price range and has a capable Snapdragon 730g processor but because of one ui the phone fells laggy and bugy. Phone also heats a lot during gaming and heavy tasks.
4g Carrier Aggregation : - Not supported which decreases the download speed drastically. Should have given in this price.
Sound and other features : - Volume is really low and cracks on high volume.
Back Plastic : - Back of the phone is totally scrached even after using back cover.
Verdict : - You can definetly buy it if you can hendle the weight and not a heavy gamer. It can smoothly handle occational gaming and day to day tasks. If you consider buying buy it only when the price goes below 20k or you can go with F62 which is better version of M51.
