Friends, never buy this phone or any of Samsung’s phones. Mine was just 2 months old when a new software update came. It was pestering me for an update, and somehow, without my direct intervention, the OS upgrade was initiated(!). After the upgrade, 80% of the applications has stopped working normally, and the screen lock panel has gone to a tiny widget which makes the unlocking very difficult, that one has to use the pen.
Visited one Customer care near my place and he told me to book a service. The service queue is due for 2 weeks (Bangalore), and it will take another 2 weeks to get this repaired. Now I am using a second hand Micromax mobile which doesn’t have any headaches.
DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. If you need peace of mind.
