I purchased the Galaxy Note about two months back. Till date I have been satisfied with the performance of all the functionality that I desired for in this phone. Initially I was a bit annoyed by the lack of a proper instruction manual to get started with, but soon after realized that I would get to all the features quickly by the trial and error method.
Both the touchscreen and SPen(stylus) have been functioning very well and there have not been any slowness issues even after effectively utilizing phone, USB and external memory. The phone is particularly great for gaming owing to its large screen size and good audio and video capabilities. The overall size and the screen zooming capabilities makes it easy to browse the internet or just read a book or a magazine. The spacing between the keys in the virtual keypad is more than most other phones helping the user to type quicker and with greater accuracy.
One feature that I was disappointed not to find here ( which was present in my earlier smartphone E63) was the inability to record an active phone conversation in the background.
