The phone has been around for more than a year and I myself has stayed away for so long given the price, affordability and limited perceived utility. But when I saw the limited time offer with Head phones (Worth Rs. 3400/-) and free apps I decided to take a serious look at this phone.
I was also looking forward to buy a Tab for software development for my company and personal use. The specification of the phones are quite good - Key factors to look for in any smart phone with Android -
Processor - 1.4 Dual core
Ram - 1 GB
Internal Memory - 16 GB ( you can not install apps on external memory card in android. Only Photos, Music and Videos can be saved...)
Battery Life - Stays good for complete day (Android drains the battery by using background data, & demon service and unnecessary animations)
Screen Type & Size - HD Super AMOLED - its really amazing screen to watch
Camera & Flash - Good 8MP camera - Fairly good. Good HD Video recording too
The SNote & Stylus: A very good app to take notes in meeting and discussions, create flow charts etc..
Have been using it for few months now.... and I am happy with the performance and battery life.
Also I have reduced on my use of laptop for mails and browsing as the Big Screen is good enough for all purpose. Adobe Flash is also fully supported.
My calculation was Rs.32000 with bill and additional Rs.3400 Sennheiser head phones+ Screen Guard 500 + Free Games & Music Rs.1500/- ... **So effective Price 26600/- which is a very good price for such a advanced phone
Additionally the big screen gives a great experience in gaming for people who want to play on mobile
Priced around Rs.30, 000 I think its a fair buy for a particular type of users who have a budget and want a advanced smart phone where in Samsung s3 is over priced, no additional features that help in life and low battery life...*
