SAMSUNG GALAXY ON NXT

Another release in Samsung On series is out with a tag ‘Made for India.’ Samsung Galaxy On Nxt has been listed on the online retail giant, Flipkart. The company claims the Galaxy On Nxt as the upgraded Galaxy On 7 ( 2016) which made its debut in India in the earlier month. However, the smartphone resembles the exact look of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and is a bumped version of it regarding storage. Aiming the midrange smartphone market, Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is priced at Rs.18, 490.

The new Samsung Galaxy On Nxt came up with a price lower than Galaxy J7 Prime at its launch. The smartphone flags great a look what usually Samsung is good at fashion sense. With the releases in the last sale season, Samsung has actually failed in attracting customers in spite of being the considerably big brand in India. Let’s get into Samsung Galaxy On Nxt review and go through the specs sheet what this beauty has stored in for us.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Features, Specs, Review

Design:

Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is brilliant at its body language. Though it takes it design cues from Galaxy J7 Prime, the combination of curvy design and metal back panel looks great. The glass panel on the front with curvy edges helped the phone to get way more premium look.

Fully metal unibody design body bears plastic on top and bottom with the brushed metal finish to house antennas. Typical Samsung model phone flaunts a physical home button on the front panel which incorporates a fingerprint scanner in it.

Starting from the top, it has absolutely nothing, not even a noise cancellation sensor. The power button and an audio-out speaker are positioned on the right edge. The speaker placement might be a bit weird but is seen in few of previous Samsung devices.

On the left edge, we have two volume rockers and a couple of slots for SIMs and Micros SD card. A USB type-C charger is provided on the bottom with a 3.5mm audio-out jack beside it. The big slot comprises of SIM2 and a Micro SD card, while another slot is for the SIM1 simply.

Coming to the front side, the phone looks good with proper bezel management with a Samsung logo above and a camera beside it. A physical home button is adjusted with capacitive multitasking and back buttons on either side of it. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt has got a stylish design with good in-hand experience and a better grip.

Display:

Galaxy On Nxt features a 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D glass on the top. The pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 with 401 PPI provides sharp images. The device sports a 10 ADP screen instead of Super AMOLED which other makers are offering in this price range. Viewing angles are wide and decent at its range.

The display of the handset is found slightly dull missing the feel of using a typical Samsung phone. Colors on the display screen are found a bit washed out when compared to other smartphones. Comprising the look of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, the device could have satisfied the display requirements.

Touch sensitivity is found smooth with quick response. Fingerprint scanner provided in the front panel is very responsive in all angles. An interesting thing is you actually don’t need to press the physical home button. Ambient light sensor is also failed to make its presence, and as a result, auto-brightness feature is unavailable.
