I am not able to see my earlier post - I was a fan of Samsung and my family owns 4 Samsung mobile devices. this experience has made me feel cheated .
A couple of weeks back, my phone screen got cracked and was in usable condition since the touch was still working.
I wanted to get an original replacement(though there are may others available). it cost me a bomb - 8000/-(a new phone is available at this cost) and got the same done.
In 2 weeks, the display cracks again ALL BY ITSELF. no misuse/ fall . absolute manufacturing defect by Samsung that surfaced within 2 weeks of replacement. There is no crack/ even a scratch on my phone - the crack is now in the plasma layer that has made the phone unusable.
I was better off not changing the display at all - my bad frown emoticon. After running pillar to post between the Coimbatore Samsung service center and the call center(every time the conversation will last nothing less than 15 minutes since I have to explain the case from the beginning) - and a trying period, they slap the POLICY on me saying that no breakage is allowed under warranty - do they even HEAR what the customer says - I doubt. I am extremely extremely disappointed with the way they have treated me - any help in this case will be really appreciated.
