Initially when I purchased samsung galaxy s3 (or s3 in short) the all inclusive price was Rs 37000 (with 14% cst incl) which seemed exorbitant ( Aug’12)at that time. Now the price has dropped down to Rs 27000 (with 14% cst incl) it appears to be a value for money mobile. The mobile is excellent but there is a strange problem with the mobile, at least with my s3.
When u go to sleep with 100% battery charge u will wake with 75% or 80% battery charge inspite of the fact that it has not been used in any way. This does not happen during the day. I have searched the net where I found out that this is a common problem with s3. The solution is to set it to flight mode when u go to sleep. The charging problem is also there which I found out after 10 months of use.Service centre (Bilaspur/CG) is good as it replaced the charging socket without any cost. Hope this is a permanent solution to my charging problems. If u overlook these above two problems the mobile is fantastic. Screen begs u to look at it forever.Net is fast(3g). Downloading is faster than others.
But biggest asset of this mobile is its fantastic camera which is at par with best in the market , xperia z , s4 included. You just touch the camera button and pic is captured in a flash. no lag whatsoever. Resolution is superb. There is 16 gb inside the mobile and it is expandable upto 64 gb extra with memory card. U just dont need to upgrade at present unless u have money to waste.
