I bought Samsung Galaxy S4 - I9500 on 12 June 2014. IMEI number: 355798054620380.
2 months back I have noticed a small mark between the touch glass and LCD screen. Then on further research I figured out it is increasing day by day.
My phone used to heat up like anything. Also some times all the sounds also go and when I restart it it comes to normal state.
To rectify the issue I went to Samsung service centre (Varun Enterprise - Wa-84, Mother Dairy Road, Shakarpur, Delhi - 110092). I explained all the issues with the handset.
They told me that the upper glass is duplicate and I have changed it from outside. They told that glue between glass and LCD screen has came out.
That’s why they told I have voided the warranty. But I have not replaced the glass. The glue came from inside which is because of phone gets heat up.
They are forcing me to accept that I have replaced the glass but they do not have any proper justification to prove it as duplicate.
Also, for other issues which I have raised for the handset, they said they will not repair it.
This is really frustrating and this is my last Samsung device. I will not suggest anyone to go for Samsung products.
It’s just a way to make money out of under warranty products.
