My niece Dr. Kanchan purchased an S4, paying the princely price for it from Croma on 10th June 2013 and from then on she has been running from pillar to post to get the defective set replaced. But she is being shunted from one place to another and Samsung has said they will "Repair" the set and not replace it.
Now we hear from sources in Croma that they have received back several defective S4 sets. It means it is a PRODUCT FAILURE. It is clearly a case of the company with worldwide presence in such a vast electronic field evading its responsibility and avoiding to take back the set.
We have now not just lost confidence in the S4 but are apprehensive about Samsungs other sets too.. there is a lot of correspondence on this.. and nothing else...
This is just for all of us to know that just because we are paying such princely prices for these gadgets they are not necessarily worth it...
