Pros -
A lot of features. All basic and advanced sensors(including fingerprint sensor) are in place.
Software updates to this device are prompt from Samsung.
Very light to hold and single hand operations are possible.
A Truly executive device. People on the move from country to country will love this device’s features.
GPS location finding seems to be better and faster on this device when compared to other Samsung or other Android devices.
Audio quality is amazing. Either during calls or with loudspeaker, the audio quality is good.
Camera quality is superb.
Wifi receptivity is perfect.
This device scores full marks for network receptivity.
UI is smooth but not of the best quality. Sometimes you may experience lags but for a middle aged executive, these lags matter less as people above 40 years do not aim to use the device for gaming and other UI centric apps.
Cons -
Plastic feel might disappoint some people. Especially people who have used Apple phones. Back cover will surely make you wonder if the price meets the quality but its sturdy enough. Build quality could have been better based on the price point.
Battery life might disappoint you if you are person who wishes to use full blown features all the time(3G, Location tracking, Bright screen, Background applications, Notifications). With all these things in place the device might fail to offer a day’s long duty. However, switching of GPS etc might help you extend the life for a day.
Heating up: During heavy wifi usage, or during software updates or heavy games the device feels too hot. You might keep it aside wondering if it will burn your hands. But moderate usage will not peak up the temperatures.
Verdict: If you are traveler who loves to carry more than one device so as to exploit different features from different types of devices, then surely this device will be fulfilling your criteria of a premium device with great connectivity, smooth operations and good language and localization support. Its surely made for business executives and not made for teenagers and youngsters.
However, if you are budget conscious person looking for a feature packed phone, then dont look in this direction. There are other devices which offer good features for lesser cost.
