I went to buy an I phone for my wife, the sales person said Iphone was just a feature less phone sold just because of its name. He suggest Samsung S5 was a better product feature wise and the clincher was a Rs 5000 worth accessories free as per the promotions at that time(even printed on the box).
He said the same could be availed after first purchasing the handset and then registering in online. Having done it and followed up several times with CS and the shop keeper has resulted in a zero. The shop keeper still promises that he has got the accessories for many customers and it is strange that we haven’t got the same.
The company has a large share in the handset market and it is a very cheap strategy to cheat prospective handset buyers by misleading advertising. The phone also hangs a lot and I feel I phone would have been a better choice.
