Samsung recently introduced its new flagship smartphone Galaxy S7 on the well-attended Mobile World Congress 2016 which is currently taking place in Barcelona, Spain. Samsung has always been innovative with its Galaxy S series devices and it has continued that trend with Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. However, the most talked about feature in Samsung Galaxy S7 has been re-introduction of microSD slot along with resistance to dust and water in Galaxy S series. The difference between the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge is screen size, battery size and design tweaks to accommodate dual curved glass.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is wearing a 5.1-inch QHD S-AMOLED display with a resolution of 2, 560 X 1, 440p pixels and a pixel density of 577ppi to deliver alluring, vibrant and sharp images. The phone exteriors are made of premium grade metal with a 7.9mm waist line and 152 grams of weight. Samsung is trying to deliver an unmatched gaming experience with this smartphone and to do so it has introduced a gaming launcher on the software side that will work in tandem with Adreno 530 GPU/Mali-T880 GPU coupled with 4GB RAM.
In the optics, section, Samsung Galaxy wears a 12-megapixel primary snapper with pride at the rear side. Inside the primary camera module, it features an ultra-wide f/1.7 aperture with dual pixel technology which ensures super quick shutter speed and fast auto-focus. At the front, Samsung has used an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus to ensure better selfies.
Samsung yet to yield details about Indian availability of Samsung Galaxy S7. We can only speculate about its arrival to India at this point of time.
