If you are thinking of the best smartphone on earth. this is the one! You could just feel the touch response and be satisfied for all the money you shelled out.
The EDGE, that’s just wow, makes the display more vivid and attractive.The device is great in itself and any power user will love it. Samsung has really made an almost perfect phone and the black onyx version looks absolutely elegant and cool especially with always on display.
The main pros are:
Camera: The camera is a beast, better than iPhone 6s plus and even my previous Sony Xperia Z2. Details are sharp, dual pixel auto focus takes about only a tenth of a second, OIS & HDR are pretty great. In short, you can’t take bad photos with it.
RAM: The 4 GB RAM is very fast(it’s LPDDR4 guys, pretty obvious)
SoC: In India we get Exynos ARM v8 which in some respects is even better than A9 or Kryo cores. Plus, you get 8 simultaneous cores so performance is completely snappy.
Display: Since I moved from 1080p IPS LCD display, this quad HD AMOLED display blows my mind. The blacks are, well, very black and colours are sharp and punchy. The display can get extremely dim( readable only in pinch dark settings), or it can get extremely bright.
Battery: With 3600 mAh battery, fast charging, wireless charging, fast wireless charging, it is not an issue any more.
UI: Still looks pretty cartoonish but the performance level is increased.
Edge features: Some of them are plain gimmicks whereas some of them are actually useful.
Sound: The solo bottom firing speaker isn’t fantastic( Hello waterproofing), but isn’t bad at all. Still it gets very loud without any distortion. Plus the in box headset is amazing with a brilliant adapt sound mode.( Search audiometry)
My Galaxy: A plethora of offers and services are available about which Samsung doesn’t advertise much.( Only Samsung knows why?)
Powerful OS: Android 6 is very stable and powerful. Samsung has included some built in enhancements like disk cleaner, anti-maleware, private mode, multi- window etc. These actually work in a non gimmicky fashion without hiccups and are quite useful.
Other features are typical for a current flagship like fingerprint scanner, 4G etc.
The only major disadvantage I faced is a bug related to WiFi. It’s more of a software problem in latest 6.0 update as it is plaguing Galaxy Note 5 also. I hope it will be fixed soon.
Thus, if you are going for iPhone 6s, buy this instead. It is a much better purchase
