Ive been all excited to buy this phone and now I finally have it and am proud of my self for buying it.
Though many people are not able to get this phone is some parts of the country, for those who are I would recommend you buy it.
Before I begun with the review id like to give the pricing details, I bought it for 12k in hyderabad, both the white and black versions are good. Mine came with the Android 1.5 version.

Likes:
1) The display is gorgeous, the HVGA resolutions is simply fantastic no matter which angle you look at it from.
2) The android operating system is much better than Symbian and other ones except the iphone OS which is far more smoother. It does not mean the spica is slower, it has a 800 MHz processor which is fast for most apps.
3) The sound is good enough for most people. The loudspeaker is also very loud.
4) Wif and Gps work very good, they connect quickly.
5) The battery is exceptionally brilliant, I have never seen a touch screen phone giving me a battery of two days (consisting of 45 mins of calls, listening music thru bluetooth, checking mails thru wifi, sending 30-40 sms a day, ). I think that pretty is everything that an average person would use daily.
6) The fact that samsung is offering the Android 21. Eclair update for spica is damn good , so you can expect a whole lot of new features from it.
7) And more over if you are the kind of person whole like pressing buttons for everything, then you are a winner here , as you can operate every function of the phone with the buttons provided , except messaging and dialing numbers.
8) The provided are also very nice
The Dislikes:
1) The camera is very slow but the pictures are good
2) The screen lock/unlock button feels shaky
3) Has only 128mb ram which means not many apps and games can be installed.
Note:
There are new Android phones that have been launched at a similar pricing with similar features but look out for the screen resolution, the higher the better.
