I have been using this tab for past 3 years, still I use it some times, it was most popular tablet by samsung.
I had it was on android ics which was performing fine for me as an year passed it became slow due to the just 1ghz processor but I got an update and was upgraded to jelly bean.
The performance improved it was good for media consumption ignoring the screen quality.after jelly bean it did not got any update till now.
So I decided to root it and install a custom rom.At present it is running cm12.1 which runs good for most part the battery life is above average due to cynogenmmod
Its really good in day to day operations due to customizations of cm12.1. If u have this tab you can install cm12 and use it.i gave this tab to my grand parents as they can use this for skype calls, browsing, texting, etc they never complained about lagging problems.
