I have been waiting for this watch since last few months and finally flipkart has exclusively brought it to India.
First things first, this is not a GSM watch and its 3G version is yet to be launched.
Display : At 302 ppi, this super AMOLed screen boasts a crunchy display, although screen size is tad small but that won’t bother you much. Only problem is that your finger leaves a slight impression which is visible in bright light and you might want to clean your screen at times.
Looks/Design/feel : Well, I must say that this watch is meticulously designed, the black metallic body glitters, especially in daylight, it looks gorgeous enough to please anyone. The leather band is not the best one, but it’s fine.
Rotating bezel : Oh god, this is sick, it’s the best thing in the watch and this single feature takes it many steps ahead of all it’s competitors. It feels amazing to rotate it, the wheel makes a clickety-click sound and vibrations, which is such an amazing thing to feel on your wrist. The fuctionality of this rotating bezel is so deeply and perfectly incorporated with the software of this watch, thatit makes your life so much easier.
OS/apps : The Tizen OS is of course, way better than android wear when it comes to performance. The transitions and animations are butter smooth. But, when it comes to the app market, tizen is not as good as android wear, apps are limited, but trust me, you won’t feel left behind because it features almost all the useful things that you could need for a watch. And btw, tizen app market is increasing at blazing fast speed.
Battery : Despite the small size of battery on paper, it delivers around 2 days of battery life, thanks to the Super AMOLed display. This is funny, but SAMSUNG has always won half of its battles with the gorgeous yet power efficient displays that it offers in its fleet of devices.
Samsung sweeps away its competitors like ASUS Zenwatch, MOTO 360 ( 2nd gen) , Huawei watch, LG Urbane, and it does this like a boss. This is a result of ingenious design and precise craftmenship
