I bought this mobile a month back and so far been a happy user of this mobile in terms of features, looks and stability. My need was to have a mobile which can sync my outlook calendar, this is as I don’t want to take up a mobile internet connection or GPS as both are still little expensive services in India. Also other constraint obviously I had was in terms of cost. All BB are above the price range and will need a monthly subscription to use its fullest capability.
So after a little analysis in the market, I came across this mobile in a mobile store, and bought it for INR 11, 500. Apart from its looks and large screen, some of good advantages are the inbuilt windows mobile features like outlook, office, calendar & task sync and windows media player. The navigation are quite easy inspite of a non-touch panel screen. Easy to use key pad based navigation (provided you are used to it in your computers). With windows mobile 6.1 in it, and amazingly it hasn’t hanged so far (surprising given windows mobile OS background). Handsfree and speaker output are average. Battery life is low, probably 3 hours. (Not an issue, as you may frequently sync with your outlook during which it will charge).
There is no separate charger plug in, is provided within the same data cable port. Which means any damage happens to your data cable port, the mobile can be non-usable. In general, its a good looking, easy to use and a mobile that solves your purpose.
