No doubt Aamir Khan endorsed this product, for he has always endorsed the best(Toyota Innova being another example). the Hero 2230(available in red and black versions) is indeed a very good phone. I’ve been using it for the last 2 years and have been exceptionally happy with its performance. I was using a smartphone earlier but had purchased this one. People were astonished at my decision but I was sure that I was putting my money in the right place.
First of all, for a price this low, the phone has a good display. The keys are so designed that not even accidentally can a call be made when the phone is pocketed. Hot keys for silent mode, key-lock and internet are located on the keypad itself. The music player can be accessed one-touch. 4 way navigation makes access easier to any four desired functions.
The camera is okay. The loudspeaker is AWESOME. The phone has a decent storage even w/o a memory card slot. There are three nice themes to the phone. ringtones are trendy and loud. The phone comes with a Hindi-enabled keypad as well as a calender preset with dates of all major festivals which is AMAZING. the earphones are good too and do not tangle that often. Hands-free is available.
In short, the best value for money, which Samsung is gradually being known for. Love you Samsung hero. Love you Samsung!
